Out with a Bang...

well...my time covering for the touring Bee has come to an end, and now I must leave, and watch my sister be wed - Then drink import beer and golf with the farmers.

So I'll try to out-do myself with:

Sweet and Sour Bean/Tofu/Pepper wraps stuffed with basmati and basil on hot and fresh flour tortillas that im frying up as we speak.

Served up with a side of sweet cucumber/broccoli/sunflower seed salad. I dare you to come try some [/food]

Also, there are still 4 warm scones here...count em - Four! Going quick. 2 dollhairs each.


Vive la 5.70 lunch!

Today's lunch is:

Fishless Fishcakes (Fried potato pancake featuring fresh mint leaves, lemon and parsley...notabley absent is the fish...) Topped with green tomatoes from the Bloomfield Biosphere.

Served with a cold bean salad (Lentils, Kidneys, Corn, Green and Yellow String Beans, Chic Peas)

Noodles and Sauce?

Today we're overstepping our culinary boundaries and, with the help of the now (mysteriously) working bottom oven element, are making saucey vegetarian lasagna with Pain au Garlic!

Ingredients?

Des Onions (finely chopped, of course)
Olive oil
Tomatoe Sauce
Fresh Oregano and Basil from the Bloomfield Gardens. (organique!)
Garlic
Tomatoes
Mushrooms
Maybe some lasagna noodles...
Love (more than usual)

Today is grilled french-bread paninininis comprised of the following quality ingredients:

Tofu dill/garlic spread
Tomatoes
Concombre (cucumber)
Salt
Pepper
Love (2 dashes)

Also, a salad will make an appearance, Romainey lettuce avec
a red onion/sesame oil saucey sauce. Its hot hot hot!

Come on down for 5.70 lunch.

Friday August 18th!

Ok, as long as nothing goes terribly wrong, today will be:

Fried Chickpea patty on a bit of spinache
Served with Roasted Lemony- Dill potatoe wedges...
and...
A cous-cousey salad with diced tomatoes, parsley, and cubed tofuuuu.

Not to mention the chocolate-banaanannan brownies I baked last night - only one DollHair each!
