Not as terribly spicey as it sounds, but spices are involved, mostly on the zuccini, bits of chili and pepper...

Today's lunch is as follows.

Waking up Early

I'm making a vegetable Pene Pasta (zuccini and carrots in honey sauce) served with mushroom and tomato bruschetta, with basil from my lovely Bloomfield garden!!!

Black Beans, Lentils, Eggplant and Tofu in sweet sauce served on rice with a side of Rock 'n' Roll Taters.

Also, we're selling Grant's Burritos, which are basically a full meal by themselves, with a side of tortillas and salsa.

Overstayed our welcome at Gus' lastnight, so things are sideways again.

the sammich dilemma

the indie kids these days are calling sandwiches "sammiches". I think it's an adoptive regression to the early days of childhood. those who use the term were probably not loved or breast fed up until their later years.

regardless, today's lunch is roasted mediterranean sandwich.

with hummus and sprout on freshly made oatmeal bread. we're talking fresh here.

I found the key to the gate last week, but it took me forever to piece together the rest of the map and follow it to Sobey's. Sobey's isn't open on Sundays, they respect the Lord...one of them, anyway.

Last Night...

I slipped and hit my knee on the pavement...and suddenly, it struck me!

Brocolli/Black Bean/ChickPea filling with honey/curry sauce on a wholesome homemade organic wheat wrap brushed with lime.

Rice and Salad, as per usual!
